ISO 9001
ISO 9001 is an established quality framework recognised worldwide
and is suitable for any business looking to improve the way it is
operated and managed. It applies to the processes that create and
control the products and services an organisation supplies to
ensure that the needs and expectations of customers are met. It
steers towards improved customer satisfaction, staff motivation and
continual improvement thus providing cost savings and increased
opportunities.
In addition, ISO 9001 is designed to be compatible with other
management systems standards and specifications, such as BS OHSAS
18001 Occupational Health and Safety and ISO 14001
Environment.
ISO14001
Environmental impact is becoming an increasingly
important issue which every business has a responsibility to
manage. ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that
provides a framework for putting in place an effective
Environmental Management System (EMS) and controlling activities
that have an effect on the environment. These include the use of
natural resources, handling and treatment of waste and energy
consumption.
OHSAS 18001
OHSAS 18001 is the internationally recognised
assessment specification for occupational health and safety
management systems. This standard promotes a safe and healthy
working environment by providing a framework to consistently
identify and control health and safety risks, reduce the potential
for accidents, aid legislative compliance and improve overall
performance. Certification to the standard demonstrates a
commitment to implement, maintain and improve the way Health and
Safety is managed.
