Established in 1998, Autonet has grown from a boutique insurance business to becoming the seventh largest insurance broker in the UK.

Delivering reliable and energy efficient solutions

Thanks to Datacentre UK’s longstanding relationship with Autonet, we were on hand to assist the company in its recent major move to new head office premise in Manchester city centre.

For its existing infrastructure and planned new high-density server environment, Autonet required scalable, reliable and energy efficient solutions to be delivered on time while working alongside the building contractors onsite who would be responsible for delivering some of the required services.

Designed and delivered one of the UK’s first Hot Aisle Containment System (HACS)

As part of the project, Datacentre UK designed and delivered one of the UK’s first Hot Aisle Containment System (HACS) to ensure hot exhaust air from the racks was contained within the aisle to enable the rest of the data centre to become a reservoir of cold air. Our team also implemented In-Row DX-based cooling to manage airflow and eliminate hot spots.
